Showroom Greeter
As a Greeter, you will be responsible for providing professional, courteous and exceptional service as a front-line representative for the dealership. Greets customers as they enter the showroom, answers basic inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate party.
Greeter Responsibilities (included but not limited to)
• Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit.
• Monitors guests and showroom including the parking lot to ensure all guests are assisted.
• Serves as the secondary individual to handle incoming phone calls to dealership and route correctly.
• Obtains and records basic customer information into company CRM. The ability to scan State identification into the CRM system and appropriately update the customers profile.
• Ensure appointment board is up to day in the morning and updates board at end of shift for prior morning:
o Send Slack Notification in Sales Group Channel to remind team of next day Sales appointments.
o Send Slack Notification in Sales/Service Group Channel to remind team of next day Service appointments.
• Hands out brochures and other information to customers.
• Answers basic customer inquiries. Refers more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
• Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introduces the customer to a salesperson.
• Greets customers in the sales or service department during morning rush hour and obtains basic customer information.
• Receives daily update from Parts Department on Special Order parts – calls customers to remind them of their order. Works directly with the Parts Dept on this daily process.
• Serves as clerical back-up.
Greeter Requirements
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Dealership experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook
• VinSolutions experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Saturday & evenings are required
• High school diploma or equivalent and/or college

• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Maintains customer service area cleanliness throughout the day.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
Physical Demands
• Must be able to sit and stand without restrictions for 8-hour shift.
• Some light lifting (up to 15 pounds) may be required as needed.
