Our Reviews
Horrible customer service and severe lack of professionalism. I went in for a oil change and tire rotation with alignment. When I checked in, I told my appointed service advisor, Katlyn Price that I had a concern with the passenger rear tire and that it may have I leak. I asked her to have the tech please check it for safety. The service was done, supposedly. This took over two hours. When I arrived home, I immediately heard a hissing noise from the passenger rear tire. Upon closer inspection I witnessed and active leak as the tire was wet and bubbling. So - NUMBER ONE, this was the tire that I asked to be inspected and it wasn't rotated. Again, this is the passenger rear tire - meaning the tires were not rotated as told. Wow, so this supposed rotation and alignment, done by tech, Joe Mog. Wasn't done. There is no way this brand no leak could have occurred in a tire that was supposedly rotated. Now, here is the worst part. I requested that the tire be inspected. I was told it was and it wasn't. I brought the car to Firestone tire and a nail was found in that tire which was causing the leak. Crestmont and its tech, sent me away with a nail in a tire that I requested to be inspected. This is extremely dangerous and negligent work and service by Crestmont Cadillac. There is more ------ I called FIVE times to speak with Kaitlyn Price so that she could help me address this situation. She has failed to return my calls now FIVE times. My last call I requested to speak to the manager but alas he wasn't available. I asked the person on the phone if Katlyn was indeed at work and he said, "yes". I then asked to be put on hold to speak with her, as I couldn't rely on her to return my calls. The person said he'd ask her and when he returned off hold he informed me that she said she couldn't speak to me because she was busy with other customers. He said that she would call for sure by the end of the day. NO CALL. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism. So over the course of my first call on Friday and what id now 3pm on Saturday, she couldn't find time to call a customer back with a concern? SO what are the reasons for the lowest scores? I was told that services were done and they were clearly not. I made repeated calls, over 24 hours asking for a call back and nothing. AND - I asked for a tire to be inspected, and it wasn't, being sent on my way with a nail in a faulty tire, very dangerous. These are the reasons for the low score.
Dealership sold me a misrepresented, painted over, rusted out frame. It took 5 months for the front wheel to almost fall off while i was driving on the freeway. No one will repair te vehicle and Crestmont wants nothing to do with it. I am out about $15,000 at least aned being a senior citizen, I cant afford their greediness. NO HELP AT ALL WITH MY SITUATION. I EVEN HAVE TONS OF PHOTOS AND WITNESSES.
I had low air in my tire I had went to 2 gas stations udes their machine it was broken and it over charged me so please have quarters but Cierra very lovely helpful young lady said you don't have to pay us for air she took my car got the keys took it in the back put in it and also told me what was wrong with it thank you so much Sierra happy holidays to you
Maria, our sales person was very out going and friendly. We went to the dealership, after the 2020 GMC Denali Arcadia, which we were interested in, was sold the day before. There were two, 2020 Cadillac XT6’s there, with singular equipment, the same milage, but a better warranty and high end luxury. So we purchased the XT6 with the tan seating, ventilated seats and the heads up display much like the GMC Denali Arcadia had. We are very happy with the assistant manager of the service department. The phone system should be improved, as trying to make an appointment with the sales staff and the service department was very difficult.
I took my car to their bodyshop and got it back good as new in no time. They even had my oil changed and recall done for me as well. Way to go !!!
A Comprehensive Misdiagnosis Comparable to a Doctor Amputating a Healthy Leg I'd like to start this review by saying that I've never experienced such a confusing and disappointing level of service. My experience at the Cresmont Cadillac service department was analogous to a doctor amputating a healthy leg instead of treating the diseased one. I visited their service center with a specific request: to replace my car's rear light fitting. However, upon my return, I discovered that they had replaced my rear view mirror, which was perfectly fine to begin with, while completely neglecting the part that I had requested service for. In a separate incident, I entrusted them with my car only to receive it back in worse condition. The dashboard screen, which was crystal clear when I left the car in their care, was unexpectedly delaminated when I went to retrieve it. When I brought this up to them, they quickly dismissed my concern and casually termed it as a common issue, as if that was supposed to absolve them from the damage done to my car. Each visit was characterized by a lack of proper communication and questionable problem-solving tactics. Not only did they fail to perform the services I explicitly requested, but they also created new problems and dismissed my valid concerns. I write this review not out of spite, but in hope that Cresmont Cadillac's service department improves their procedures, ensuring future customers don't have to go through the frustration and dissatisfaction that I did. It's disheartening to entrust your car to professionals, only to have it returned in a worse state than when you left it. A mechanic's job is to fix and improve, not to disregard and deteriorate.
As a person of color, I have unfortunately experienced racial discrimination at Crestmont Dealership in Beachwood, Ohio. On March 31, 2023, between 3:30pm-4:30 pm, I entered the auto body shop garage and waited for someone to come and greet me. However, all the white individuals present just stared at me, and I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. After a few minutes, I got out of my car and entered the office to ask for service. To my surprise, the body shop manager, John Darovich, refused to give me service and even refused to give me the owner's name. He was aggressive, loud, and extremely rude. He told me to get out of the office and left me feeling insulted and disregarded. As I turned around and left, I noticed that he had his phone raised like he was taking a picture of me. While on the other hand he served white car owners. I had full auto coverage and cash on hand, but despite that, I was denied service and left feeling humiliated and discriminated against. I didn't understand why I was treated this way, especially when I had done nothing wrong. All I wanted was a simple service for my car, but instead, I was met with hostility and disrespect. Feeling frustrated and upset, I decided to talk to the owner about the situation. However, the only thing he said was that he was sorry I felt that way, which left me feeling even more insulted and disregarded. He didn't ask me if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation or offer any solutions to make it right.
I see the same complaint I have is the same complaints identified in the previous reviews. I purchased a cadillac in July 2021 from Crestmont. I had to file a complaint because the salesman added a extended warranty after I specially said I was not interested. I know it was done on purpose because it was the only paperwork unsigned by me. For my one year anniversary they sent me a coupon for an oil change in the mail on and in my email. I cut the coupon off the card and took it in to use at the dealership. Dave Moore very rudely accused me of cutting off the expiration date and told me I couldn't use the coupon because it had expired. I told him I just got it in the mail last week and it couldn't have expired. There was no expiration date on the card. I pulled up the same coupon on my phone and showed it to him, he physically took my phone and said he had to go ask if I could use the coupon they sent me days earlier. How rude and disrespectful that was. He reading the email but he has to take possession of my phone to ask someone. The I ask if my car was ready. Rudely told me I'll call you when it's ready. Another review called him out for being rude. My check engine light came on this week and left 2 voice mails for Anthony Tran with no response. I spoke to a rep and she assured me he was in and she would personally leave a message on his desk. A week later and he never called. This is the same complaint in other reviews, no one calls you back. One incidence, you might consider an oversight, two you think suspicious but three incidents in a year, it the culture of the company and it must be sanctioned by management because it continues. My advice is to run and don't do business with Crestmont unless you want to get in bed with horrible customer service. I will not go here again.
I would not refer Crestmont Cadillac to anyone they’re ripping people off charging them extra for work that is not done I took my Cadillac trunk to them they charge me almost $500 just to tell me I needed a wheel bearing I got a diagnostic about my radio because the sound would not come on I was told that I needed a battery I replace my old battery and my radio still did not work and they charge me for a wrong diagnostic I ask what was I charged almost $500 for I was told by Dave you know what’s wrong with your vehicle right 😳 But actually I don’t know what’s wrong with my vehicle because they gave me a diagnostic telling me that I needed a battery for my radio to work which didn’t really make sense to me when they told me that but I bought a new battery and my radio still doesn’t work customer service is poor The supervisor argued with me on the phone instead of trying to help because they gave me a wrong diagnostic and charge me for it there was one person willing to help me and that was Kelly the service is out right poor and they are over charging people that come in that they think Doesn’t know nothing about cars
Purchased a CPO 2019 Cadillac CT6 mid May 2022 with a trade-in of a CPO 2018 Cadillac XTS previously purchased mid May 2019 at Crestmont Cadillac. Both purchase experiences were very pleasant with Mr. Tim Turcoliveri overseeing the purchase of the 2018 Cadillac XTS, with a trade-in and Mr. Paul Guy and Mr. Michael Gutowitz overseeing the purchase of the 2019 Cadillac CT6 with the trade-in of the 2018 Cadillac XTS. I noted to Mr. Paul Guy that the puddle lamp on the driver’s side mirror was loose and dangling from its original installation point. He quickly had a service technician assess the issue and we were informed that it was simple remedy, new replacement puddle lamp would be ordered and Mr. Paul Guy would contact me when the part arrived to schedule service replacement. Last week I called Mr. Paul Guy and inquired about the status of the replacement part, and he advised me that the part was already in and someone from parts/service should have contacted me by now. I advised him that I would be available to return to Crestmont Cadillac this Saturday at 8:00AM in order for service to install the replacement puddle lamp. When I arrived and informed the service advisor Mr. Dave Moore that I was here for the replacement installation, he rudely informed me that I was not on his schedule and that he did not have time for me. I asked for the part so that I could install it myself, and again he rudely told me that he does not have anything to do with parts. II waited till 9:00AM for Mr. Paul Guy (sales) to present only for him to advise me that he had a morning meeting he had to attend. Approximately at 9:30AM, I shared with him my dissatisfaction with the experience at the service department. He tried to obtain a service technician to install the part, but was told that 2 service technicians had called off and they did not have a “certified technician” to install the part. I asked for the part so that I could install it myself and Mr. Paul Guy stated that since it was warranty issue it was not permissible. I travel 33 miles one-way from Medina to Beachwood due to my previous positive experiences with Crestmont Cadillac, but sadly my opinion has greatly depreciated for the customer service that is currently offered. Never would I return to Crestmont Cadillac for sales nor service. I have provided a favorable opinion to my friends and business associates about Crestmont Cadillac, but unfortunately, I will need to update everyone regarding how little they value customer appreciation. A whole week later and I have not heard any feedback from Crestmont Cadillac. Initial response from the owner: "we will have the Service Director reach out to you." More like an automated response, than an actual associate responding to their undervalued customers! Response from the ownera week ago Mr. Delgado We are very sorry for your experience and we will have the Service Director reach out to you.
Shady, used cars fail within weeks of owning. RUN!! DO NOT SHOP HERE. BIG CONS!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!! I was told a full inspection was completed on my vehicle before purchasing, however, there was a crack in the windshield, the brakes sound horrible,(even though work was supposedly done on them), and the sun visor was broken. I was told I would have to pay for a new sun visor despite receiving the vehicle with it already broken. They lied to me about financing when deciding to purchase the car and then tried cover it up. I have bought a car before and have never experienced such crooked service. Do not trust this dealership, They false advertise and will tell you anything you want to hear to make the sale. I will never be purchasing from here again.
I found a Cadillac ATS-V online at Crestmont Cadillac in Beachwood, Ohio. I then called the dealership and spoke to Joe Gordon who was very helpful. While the price was good, I did ask about the quality of the tires. I told him I planned to fly to Ohio to buy the car and wanted reliable tires for the drive back to Illinois. He represented everything was up to date and ready to go. Upon this confirmation I made an online credit application and further proceeded with the dealership personnel about the specific financing terms. The dealership was very heavy handed in selling an extended warranty. I resisted the extended warranty and then the dealership also refused a discount of $250 on the car purchase since I declined the extended warranty. After we agreed on the price of the vehicle, and after giving my credit card information (which was supposed to be on file, rather they charged the card without my consent and approval). I then flew to Ohio for the car. Joe Gordon picked me up at the airport and when we arrived at the dealership. I noted the tires were from 2015 (while the car was a 2017 model). I immediately raised the issue that the tires were older than the car and this was at odds with what I was told on the phone conversations. Further, the tires were not reliable for the trip back to Illinois. The dealership's Service Manager Dan Banas represented the age of the tires was not of concern. This statement is false as a matter of fact. There is a clear reason why D.O.T is on a tire and it is to inform a vehicle owner that it is time for new tires, even if the mileage limit hasn’t been met. Again, I had specifically asked about the tires while I was still in Illinois, and they had not disclosed the tires were older than the vehicle. The dealership continued to deny the tires were inferior. I left the dealership and informed them I would be at a hotel since I needed to fly back to Illinois rather than drive. At that point the the Used Car Manager Jim Turcoliveri suggested I save the lodging and flying fees and buy the car for the agreed price and get new tires when I arrived back in Chicago. This confirmed my position that Crestmont Cadillac had no concern for my satisfaction nor my safety. It wanted a sale and it couldn't care less about the professional thing to do. I write this review so others are warned not to come to the dealership from out of town because the personnel will not stand by its values. They assume you will buy the car because that's the easy thing to do. Untruthful, inconsiderate and unprofessional are the hallmarks of the experience I had in my transaction at Crestwood Cadillac. The dealership has my contact information if they want to resolve the issue, contact me, and do not ask me to contact you in any way. You guys dropped the ball, so you all need to own up to what you did!
I leased a new Cadallic three weeks ago, there were no floor inside I was told they would order some when I checked back with the salesman I was told I had to purchase them in 54 years of buying cars I have never heard of anything like that. So disappointed with this dealership
I was lied to about me having to turn in my car to purchase the car. Why lie to make a sale and you are not a sale man.
I bought an XT5 1 year ago and the price was good and both the price and service was great. Since then I've taken the car in for the scheduled service and have been very pleased as well.
Disappointing experience. Bought a 2018 Mustang GT with 2K miles that was traded in & I got a fair deal. However, the car was advertised on their website as having the 3.55 Torsen gear, a highly desirable $500 option. It was a major factor in my decision to purchase. Using the vehicle’s VIN, my local Ford dealer printed the window sticker, & I just learned the car did not include this option. Crestmont published a deceptive ad & I bought into it. I wrote the dealer an email & of course, no response. Caveat Emptor.
Free car wash is a nightmare. I had to take my car in multiple times to finally get the seat heater fixed. I don’t think I’ll buy my next car here.
I just bought a Audi 2012 model from them in july 2016 and i bought a car 7'o clock made a deal on phone.I know it was my mistake too that i did not check properly but they front windshild was chipped and tires has no life. I call them every single day from that day but they never call me back.I went to the service centre 4 times for oil change and stuff and still after 500 miles car need more oil.I went to them specially from pittsburgh 2.5 hours drive and they said they cant do anything now .Even I have 90 days warranty card from them .Worst Place to buy car
Larry, did a walk around for me on the truck I was interested in. Body looked nice in the pics and was. The frame was totally rusted out. I can't believe this truck had a clean title. It had yo be in a flood. He told me the frame had minor rust. I paid $8250 for the truck. The shipper delivered me the truck and said they had a $6995 tag on it at the dealership. Don't deal with these crooks
I purchased a 2006 Cadillac SRX from this dealer in May of 2015 that had 78000.00 miles on it. The brakes were not working correctly so they had them look at and were supposed to fix them. 3 months and 3000 miles later the brakes started to squall real bad so I took them to my mechanic he told me all they did was turn the rotors and put the used pads back on them. One of the pads was down to the metal. I had to get the car fixed so I had to pay 436.54 for the front and rear brakes. I took photos and saved the parts and The SALES Manager did would not even look at them. Now tell me how would anyone want a Mechanic like the ones at Crestmont work on their vehicles? I would love to post the xxxxxxhere so everyone could see what I’m talking about I called and talked to the sales managers Dan and he said there was nothing he could do. I never do reviews but I’m doing one now. If I can get one person not to buy from this place I have done what I set out to do. Very poor very very poor customer service Rick Odom Akron Ohio
We drove over an hour to test drive a 2015 Escalade. They were slam busy on a Saturday at the end of the month in May. We walked In and the manager Mike helped us because they were busy. Ended up buying a 2015 Escalade. They had lots of financing options and made the large purchase easier than going grocery shopping. Thanks from Rob and Chrisine.
I made an appointment to change battery in PT Cruiser. I waited 3 hours to get my car. Charge was $231. Next week my husband changed a battery on Avalon at Motorcars Toyota, he waited 40min, charge was $117. I complained on Crestmont site, got meaningless response. I sent Crestmont a letter asking to remove my name from their mailing list. After that the owner called me to ask what was the problem. He said that their service is better so prices a little higher. 100% higher is a little!
I dealt with Crestview while shopping for a new car. I went with a different dealer because they had a car that was a better fit for my needs. The salesman at Crestmont alerted me to a shady trick by a competing dealer and made a competitive offer. He was friendly and responsive and I would recommend shopping there without hesitation.
Made an appointment with the sales team, when I got there, the car was out front ready to be test driven. The process of buying the car was smooth. Jayme Yates the Sales Manager kept his eyes on the floor was was very accommodating. Excellent service, competitive prices, good trade in value.
